Peel the carrots, then shred them using a kitchen grater. Next, get the cabbage and slice it in half. For this recipe, you will only use a half. Using the same grater, shred the cabbage into small pieces. Then dice the white onion. In a bowl, add the shredded carrots and cabbage and the diced onion.
Put 1/2 cup of milk, 1 cup of mayonnaise, and 1 tablespoon of vinegar into the bowl. Mix all the ingredients well using a spatula. Then squeeze half of a lemon. Next, put 1 spoon of sugar, ground black pepper, and salt into the vegetable mixture. Stir well. Taste the salad, and put some more seasonings if needed. You can put it in the fridge for a few minutes to make it cold or you can serve it right away. Enjoy!
