In-N-Out 4×4 (Animal Style) Burger Recipe Copycat

In-N-Out 4×4 (Animal Style) Burger Recipe Copycat | DIY Joy Projects and Crafts Ideas

This has got to be the most delicious looking burger I have ever seen, I could not wait to share this blue ribbon winner but I had to set my ground beef out to thaw because this is what I plan on having for dinner tonight. This recipe is basically a copy of the In-N-Out 4 x 4 (animal style) burger that is 4 patties with cheese and mustard grilled into the meat, but the Youtuber Sam The Cooking Guy adds some extra details and makes his take on the In-N-Out 4 x 4 burger even better than the original. Sam adds chopped bacon to his groud beef and integrates it fully before he makes his patties. Sam also makes a large meatball and sets it on the griddle and then uses a spatula to crush the meatballs down to a patty. There is also a generous amount of sauteed caramelized onions on this burger that really make it rock.

  • 3/4 of a pound of ground beef (80/ 20 fat content makes for a better flavor)
  • 1/4 pound of bacon (finely chopped)
  • Mustard (cooked into the meat)
  • Onion (finely chopped)
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Buns
  • Butter
  • Garlic Powder

Thousand Island Sauce:

  • Pickles (chopped finely)

In this video by Sam The Food Guy, you will be guided step by step on how to make this special burger recipe, including steps like adding chopped bacon to the ground beef and grilling mustard right into the beef and bacon patty.
