In this awesome homemade canned Rotel video recipe tutorial by Noreen’s Kitchen, on YouTube, you will learn how to make this old Texas favorite relish that is the basis of many dips, recipes, and makes an excellent relish to have on sandwiches or burgers. You begin by washing, drying, and chopping your tomatoes, chilis, and onions. Then you add the chopped vegetables to a large pot and cook on low for 30 minutes.
Then, you will add the delicious cooked mixture to your sterilized mason jars and boil them in the canning bath for 20 minutes.
This copycat Rotel is so good with Hatch chilis, but it will be delicious with any peppers, especially jalapenos.
