Garlic is one of the most used spices or herbs all around the world. People add them to different recipes as they bring depth to the flavor. Raw garlic has a strong, spicy taste, making it a great ingredient for dipping sauces and marinades. Cooked garlic, on the other hand, has a nutty and sweet taste. Aside from its amazing flavor, garlic also has tons of health benefits.

Place a bulb of garlic inside the jar. Place the lid and close it tightly.
Hold the jar or container firmly then give it a good shake. You should see the bulb starting to break up. You can open it and remove the outer skin.
Keep shaking until the cloves come out of their skin. Remove the skin and give the cloves a quick rinse. If you are not going to use them right away, you can store them in a food bag and place them in the freezer or you can place them in a clean jar and fill them with olive oil.
