Hack #1

If you have a lot of files that need sorting and you don’t have an available folder at hand. Try improvising one, find any hard paper that could serve as front and back cover. Then, punch several holes at the sides of the paper as well as the files evenly. Insert the zip tie on those holes, do not pull it all the way through. Cut off the excess tails.

Hack #2

To make a DIY pillow hanger, grab 2 cloth hangers and tie their bottom bars with each other with a zip tie. Pull and stretch them out to make it wider, then place the washed pillow in between, then hang it.

Hack #3

For a quick zip tie hack, use it as a DIY keyholder if you need one immediately. You can also use it to secure your electric fan’s broken wire housing for a quick fix.

Hack #4

For your shower curtains, if one or more of the rings are broken, you can replace it with a looped zip tie, you can even skip using all of the rings and use this DIY version instead. For an emergency solution for your shoelace problem, try using zip ties and use it as your shoelace instead.
