Instructions
Step 1:
Make the cinnamon butter. In a mixing bowl, add 2 1/2 tablespoons of softened unsalted butter, 2 teaspoons of light brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix everything until well combined.
Step 2:
Get 4 slices of thick bread and cut the crusts off. Spread cinnamon butter on one slice and top it with another to make a sandwich. Repeat with the remaining 2 slices. Slice it into small squares. For the crust, you can spread the cinnamon butter and roll them to make mini cinnamon rolls.
Step 3:
In a different bowl, add 1 large egg, 3 1/2 tablespoons of milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Whisk until combined.
Step 4:
Dip the bites into the egg mixture. Make sure they are fully covered. You don’t need to soak them.
Step 5:
Melt 3/4 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a pan over medium heat and the bites. Cook until golden on each side.
Step 6:
In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Immediately toss the golden bites into the mixture to coat.
Step 7:
Make the dip. In a different mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, icing sugar, and melted butter. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
Step 8:
Serve cinnamon bites with the dip while warm. Enjoy!
