To start, heat some olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat, then add the diced onions and season with 1/2 tsp salt. Stir it and once the onions soften, add the sliced chorizo. Continue to cook until the edges of the chorizo turn brown; about three minutes. Next, add the minced garlic, cook for a minute, then add the cubed potatoes. Season with some salt and ground black pepper. Cook while stirring frequently for three minutes.

After this, add 4 cups of low-sodium chicken broth, two bay leaves, and 1 tsp smoked Spanish paprika. Cook for 12 minutes, bringing everything to a boil, then mix in the Swiss chard. Cover the pot and let everything simmer, then season with salt and ground black pepper. Serve and enjoy!
