There’s nothing easier than these homemade rice krispie bars. To make these treats, you only need dark chocolate, raw tahini or peanut butter, honey, and rice krispies. If you don’t have rice krispies, you can use cornflakes. The only hard step in this recipe is waiting for the chocolate to set, which will take about half an hour. If you love crunchy chocolate bars, you should definitely make this dessert recipe at home.
Add 2 barks of dark chocolate, 1/2 cup of raw tahini, or peanut butter, and 2 tablespoons of honey in a heat-proof bowl. Microwave for 25 seconds.
Stir the mixture, and if not fully melted, bring it back to the microwave and melt for 5 seconds more. Stir again.
Once the mixture is smooth, add 2 cups of rice krispies and mix until well combined.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, then transfer the mixture. Spread evenly with a rubber spatula.
Place in the freezer for half an hour. Slice into bars and enjoy!
