This chicken bacon ranch crescent bake recipe by Pillsbury on YouTube shows how to make an easy meal using canned crescent rolls and a trio of flavors that can’t go wrong. I’m impressed by this recipe because it’s a simple meal to make and I love how the crust has cheese on the edges. It can be kid-friendly for those that are picky eaters because it does not have any vegetables. I love savory dishes so this chicken bacon ranch crescent bake has all of the components that would satisfy my tastebuds.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 cups chopped cooked chicken
  • 1/2 cup chopped cooked applewood smoked bacon
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
  • 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 4 sharp cheddar cheese sticks (0.8 oz each), cut in half crosswise
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

First, heat the oven to 375 degrees F. In a medium microwavable bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheese and milk. Microwave uncovered on high for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring the cheese until melted. In a large bowl, mix chicken, bacon, ranch dressing, and chives. Stir the cheese thoroughly and continue to watch Pillsbury tutorial on YouTube for full instructions and details.

Next, once the cheddar-stuffed crust and dough triangles are on top of the crescent bake, brush on melted butter and garlic powder. Loosely cover the crescent edges of the pie plate with 2-inch wide foil to make a ring. Bake for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and continue baking for 8-10 minutes.

Overall, this looks amazing and everything about this crescent bake has the trifecta of flavors that I like together in one. Garnish with chives on top to add color. I’ve never heard of this recipe before, but I know it would be a hit at a potluck or gathering.
