Who doesn’t love Chick-fil-a chicken? The iconic Chick-fil-a sandwich has been recreated many times, but this video by Smokin’ & Grillin’ wit AB is the best replication I’ve seen yet. He even shows you how to make it a spicy chicken sandwich and get that added crunch that Chick-fil-a chicken sandwiches are known for.
For a full detailed list of ingredients check the description box of Smokin’ & Grillin’ wit AB’s YouTube video down below.
Marinate your chicken. Start by cutting your chicken breast in half butterfly style. Next, place the chicken in a bag and add your pickle juice and water to the bag. Place the plastic bag of chicken into the fridge for 30 minutes to marinate.
Now start making your sauce. Mix up the mayonnaise, dijon mustard, yellow mustard, BBQ Sauce, honey, garlic powder, paprika, lemon juice.

Mix all the dry ingredients together to create your dry batter to coat the chicken. You can also mix up the egg wash in this step. In a bowl, combine milk and one large egg.
You will be double battering the chicken, so dip it in the egg wash, then into the flour, then back in the egg wash and flour again. This is how the chicken patties will get the extra crunchy Chick-fil-a battered taste.

Heat up your deep fryer or a pot of oil for 350 degrees. Place the chicken into the deep fryer. After deep frying the chicken for about 4 minutes, check the internal temperature of the chicken. The internal temperature should be around 167 degrees.
Once the chicken is fried up you can go ahead and assemble the sandwiches.
