This creamy cheesy spaghetti bake recipe by Simply Mama Cooks made me look at spaghetti in a whole new way. I love spaghetti and pasta in general, but the way she tossed the spaghetti noodles in the cheese sauce, made me realize I was missing out on that method this whole entire time. I never thought to coat the noodles in a cheese sauce, but I need to try it. Honestly, I could eat the noodles with just the cheese sauce. Everything that Simply Mama Cooks make, it looks phenomenal and she provides the best instructions with her recipes. The final look of the spaghetti bake at the end of the tutorial looks very appetizing too.

Ingredients:

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb lean ground beef (I used 90/10 fat to lean meat ratio)
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 24 oz of your favorite spaghetti sauce (used Racconto Riserva Marinara sauce)
  • 1 lb spaghetti noodles
  • 8 oz whole milk
  • 8 oz heavy cream
  • 12 oz mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 6 oz parmesan cheese grated

Directions:

First, saute onions and garlic on a saucepan. Then, brown the ground beef until it’s fully cooked and add in the spaghetti sauce. Let it simmer on medium to medium-low for 15 minutes. Evaporate the sauce until it thickens.

Next, add half and half and cheese into a pot. Whisk and combine the ingredients together until it’s melted and smooth. Add the fully cooked spaghetti noodles into the creamy cheese sauce and mix it together.
