This cheese-filled meatball recipe by Simply Mamá Cooks on YouTube makes a simple and easy holiday party appetizer. They look so tender, juicy, and a crowd-pleaser. It’s an easy recipe to follow along with, and everything can be mixed all in one bowl. Plus, I would love to top these on top of spaghetti or pasta meal. I think it would taste amazing if it’s tossed in noodles too. Also, since the sports season is back, this would be great to have as party favors for men. It’s a kid-friendly meal too, and you can make them into miniature cocktail sizes too.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs ground beef ( I used 85 / 15 meat to fat ratio)
  • 1/2  small onion (fine diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp season all salt (or plain salt)
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 12 oz to 14 oz low moisture mozzarella cheese (cubed small)

Directions:

First, add the ground beef in a large mixing pour and add all of the seasonings and spices into the mixture. Mix everything together, but do not overwork the meat mixture.

Overall, this meatloaf style cheese-filled meatball looks so moist. I can eat so many of these, and gives me a lot of other dish ideas I can serve this with. For example, I can have this with a salad or toss them in potatoes too. I would love to make these and bring them to a party or pot luck.
