I had some cabbage and eggs in my pantry and wondered what recipe I could make with these ingredients. Then I discovered this recipe by 쿠킹하루 Cooking Haru 🙂 on Youtube. It was fantastic – I have never tried something like this before. The sauce complements well with the cheese, ham, and sandwich. Read on or watch the video below for full instructions.

Cut the cabbage into thin slices and place in a bowl. Fill with water and wash it several times. Drain the water and place the cabbage slices on a plate lined with a paper towel. Top it with another paper towel and pat it to remove excess moisture. Set aside.
Prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of ketchup, 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Mix until well combined.
Place the drained cabbage in a clean and dry bowl. Add 3 eggs, 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, and a little pepper. Mix all ingredients well.
Place a pan over low heat, then grease with oil. Remove excess with a paper towel. Add the cabbage mixture, make it flat, and shape it into a rectangle. Add a little bit of butter to the sides.
When it’s a little bit browned, cut it in half, then flip. Cook the other side.
When the other side is cooked, flip it again and add the cheese slices and ham. Place the two on top of each other to make the sandwich. Repeat the steps for the remaining cabbage mixture.
Drizzle the sauce on your serving plate and place the sandwich on top. Garnish with parsley and serve. Enjoy!
