We all have our preference of patterns and style for our home decor and everyone has their favorite, whether it’s stripes, polka dots, florals or chevron.
I used to be really into polka dots when I was younger. Everything in my room was polka dots from sheets and bedspread to notebooks and pillows…everything had to have polka dots on it! My taste for patterns have changed now that I’m grown.
I’ve recently been drawn to the classic black and white buffalo plaid and have been gradually adding it to my home decor. It looks crisp and clean.
When I saw a tutorial on Pinterest it got my creative juices going and I thought I’d try my hand at adding this fun pattern to mason jars!
If you’re a perfectionist, this might not be the project for you because it’s far from perfect! Or, if you must have perfectly straight lines, while doing this project you might want to use painters tape if you have an overwhelming need to have perfectly straight lines!
I’m working on trying to have things in my life that are less perfect so I decided just to jump in and do this free handing the lines and see how it turned out!
