Easy and quick-to-prepare dinner or lunch recipes are my favorites. If you’re busy or don’t have much time to spend in the kitchen but still want to eat a delicious meal at home, make this dish by Rachel cooks with love ❤. This is the best homemade naked chicken recipe I have ever made at home. Read on or watch the video below for full instructions.
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, lemon pepper, dried thyme leaves, cayenne pepper, ground cumin, paprika, and light brown sugar. Mix until well combined.
Remove the excess fat and skin from the chickens and place them on your baking dish.
Pour melted butter onto your chicken. Make sure to rub it nicely on the skin of each piece. Next, sprinkle salt on both sides, followed by the seasonings. Rub the seasoning into the chicken, especially on the skin.
Place the chicken skin side down on the baking dish. Put the baking dish on the center rack in the oven and bake for 40 minutes. After the first 20 minutes, remove them from the oven and flip them over to the other side.
After 40 minutes, set your oven to broil between 2 to 3 minutes. Make sure to keep an eye on the chicken so it doesn’t burn on the top.
Let it sit for about 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
