I’m a fan of chocolate mousse, and I always order it at restaurants, but most of the time it’s either too milky or the texture is not right. Out of curiosity, I searched online for how to make chocolate mousse at home and found this recipe by Yummy. I gathered all the ingredients I needed and made it right away. Honestly, this is way better than the ones in restaurants. It’s seriously delicious and easy to make, too.

In a pan over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1/4 cup of sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined.
While continuously stirring, slowly pour 1 cup of milk. Mix until there are no lumps.
Add 1 tablespoon of butter and stir until melted. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes.
After 10 to 12 minutes, it should have a thick consistency. Remove from heat. Let it cool down while stirring continuously.
In a different bowl, add 1/2 cup of whipping cream and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Beat until stiff peaks.
Pour the chocolate mixture onto the whipped cream and mix until well combined.
Transfer the mixture to a piping bag or plastic with the corner tipped off and squeeze into your dessert cups. Sprinkle with grated chocolate on top, then refrigerate for 2 hours before serving. Enjoy!
