If you are a chocolate lover, you have to make this at home – you will surely not regret it. It is not overly sweet, just the right sweetness and creaminess. You can never go wrong with this recipe. It will surely be a hit, no matter the occasion.

Easy Chocolate Mousse Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1/2 cup of whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • grated chocolate

How to Make Chocolate Mousse

Step 1:

In a pan over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 1/4 cup of sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix until well combined.

Step 2:

While continuously stirring, slowly pour 1 cup of milk. Mix until there are no lumps.

Step 3:

Add 1 tablespoon of butter and stir until melted. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes.

Step 4:

After 10 to 12 minutes, it should have a thick consistency. Remove from heat. Let it cool down while stirring continuously.

Step 5:

In a different bowl, add 1/2 cup of whipping cream and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Beat until stiff peaks.

Step 6:

Pour the chocolate mixture onto the whipped cream and mix until well combined.

Step 7:

Transfer the mixture to a piping bag or plastic with the corner tipped off and squeeze into your dessert cups. Sprinkle with grated chocolate on top, then refrigerate for 2 hours before serving. Enjoy!
