Craving chicken wings? Here’s a must-try crispy chicken wings recipe from A Simple Palate! It’s probably one of the simplest and most delicious dishes I have ever made. It’s crispy and packed with amazing flavors! The spicy Dijon sauce pairs perfectly with the homemade sour cream blue cheese.

It’s super simple to make. Coat the chicken with garlic powder, paprika, and baking powder, then bake until crispy. The chicken does not require much seasoning since the sauce is already flavorful. While waiting, make the spicy Dijon sauce, then once the chicken is ready, pour it over and coat. Serve these chicken wings at a party or gathering, and they will be an instant hit.

For the spicy Dijon sauce:
For the sour cream blue cheese dip:
Start by drying each piece of chicken with a paper towel, then place them in a bowl.
Add 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder. Rub the seasonings with your hand. Transfer into a baking pan in a single layer. Make sure not to overcrowd the pan. Use two baking pans if needed.
Bake the chicken at 425F for 1 hour, flipping them every 20 minutes.
Make the spicy Dijon sauce. In a bowl, add the maple syrup, hot sauce, Dijon mustard, tamari/soy sauce, and garlic powder. Whisk to combine.
Make the sour cream blue cheese by mixing all the ingredients in a bowl.
Transfer the baked chicken wings to a bowl, then pour the spicy Dijon sauce. Mix until well-coated.
Serve the chicken with the sour cream blue cheese. Enjoy!
