Today I have a fun tutorial for you. I am super excited to share how to make this cool and useful item! It was a lot of fun to make and the end product is amazing!

I’m sure you have seen lots of giant floor pillows and beanbag chairs made for multiple people. But if you have seen the price tags on those guys, they are not so appealing.

It is so comfy and has been a hot commodity when I have friends come over! It is great for adding extra seating in dorm rooms or your room at home!

Pick your favorite fabric and follow the video tutorial! If you can use scissors and sew a straight line, you can make this DIY beanbag chair!

I’d been wanting to make the grandkids some bean bag chairs for what feels like ages.  I’ve never come across any in the stores that are good enough – large, neutral non-cartoon themed, and sinkable.  I say sinkable because a lot of them are more like poufs, which are great for a footstool or quick spot to sit, but I wanted something that you could really fall into and have it come up around you.
Then I ran across Laura Coia’s great tutorial and found the solution to this problem! Watch how she does this in her step by step tutorial. This is so quick and easy, you can make it in less than 30 minutes!
