These bang bang chicken skewers are seasoned so well and are cooked to perfection. It’s also a super quick and easy recipe, and it requires things you may already have in your kitchen.

It’s a budget-friendly recipe perfect, especially in the summer season but you can definitely enjoy this any time of the year. Watch the video below to learn the step by step instructions on how to make this!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into chunks
  • 2 bell peppers, cut into large chunks
  • 1 onion, cut into chunks
  • 2 tbsp garlic and herb seasoning
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • a bit of sriracha (or any chili paste)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt, to taste

For the Sauce:

  • 1 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • a bit of sriracha

Directions:

Step 1

To start, chop the veggies and the chicken accordingly and set them aside in a large bowl. Season them with 2 tbsp garlic and herb seasoning, 2 tsp paprika, and 2 cloves of minced garlic, then add 3 tbsp mayonnaise, 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce, 1 tbsp brown sugar, a bit of sriracha, 2 tbsp olive oil, and salt to taste. Mix all together, making sure the chicken and veggies are coated well.

Step 2

Once done, add the chicken and veggies to the skewers. Line a skillet with a piece of aluminum foil, and then place the skewers onto it. Pop them under the broiler for nine minutes, turn them around, and cook for another nine minutes. In the meantime, make the sauce.

Step 3

For the sauce, combine 1 cup of mayonnaise, 1/2 cup of sweet chili sauce, 1 tbsp honey, and a bit of sriracha. Mix well until combined. Brush the sauce onto the skewers, then sprinkle a bit of finely chopped parsley. Serve and enjoy!
