Who Wouldn’t Love To Have One Of These Fabulous Appliqued Bags? — Make One Easy!

I love embellished denim bags and this appliqued denim bag is one that I just had to make! I like for the bags that I carry to be different than everybody else’s.

I walk to the beat of my own drum and don’t want to see everybody else carrying a bag I’m carrying. I don’t care about all of those designer purses…give me something unique!

After all, I had a pile of denim skirts and jeans that needed to be repurposed so the only thing I bought was some really cool fabric for the applique. This bag was super easy to make and I’ve gotten tons of compliments on it!

There were several “inquiring minds want to know” people out there that wanted to know where I bought my bag and it feels so good to say “I made it!” This is one of the rewards of making something that is unique like this. Mine looks like it came from a specialty store!

I will be making one of these for my daughter…and maybe my Mom. These make great gifts for those people who are special enough to sew for. I always get excited about giving something I’ve made to my friends because I know they will love and cherish a gift that has had some thought and work put into it.
