This all the above quilt pattern by Sew Yeah is a beautiful design made from half-square triangles and four patches. It only requires one block, not two. When the blocks are sewn together, the corners create the secondary block that you can see in the photo above. It’s easy to make and definitely worth your time and effort. Read on or watch the video below for full instructions.

Fabric A
Fabric B
Fabric C
Get a 10″ square from fabrics B and C, place them right sides together, and draw a diagonal line across both diagonals on the wrong side of the fabric. Sew 1/4″ away from the drawn line on both sides, then cut directly on the line and in the middle horizontally and vertically. You should have 8 pieces of 4.5″ half-square triangles. Trim them into 4.5″ HST. You need 108 HST in total.
Get your 2.5″ x WOF strips of fabric A and C, place them right sides together, then sew along the length. Cut them into 2.5″ segments. Get two segments and flip one so that opposite colors are next to each other. Now you have a four-patch. Make 108 four-patch squares.
Assemble the 12″ block as shown in the photo below. You will need 36 pieces of 12″ blocks.
take four pieces of the 12″ blocks and rotate to make the 24″ block. Next, make 9 pieces of 24″ blocks, then assemble them in 3 rows with 3 blocks each.
