This air fryer lemon pepper wings by Whip It Up With Jay on YouTube is a homemade recipe that may be better than Wingstop. Wingstop is one of my favorite places to get wings because they are always fresh and tossed in many sauces. It’s hard to make crispy wings without deep frying them, but this tutorial shows that you can make wings in the air fryer and getting the same results. However, it’s a bit “healthier” since it’s not fried in oil. Also, it’s so much cheaper and better quality if you make your own food at home.
First, toss the dry seasoning in a large bowl. Then, add the flour mix in a separate bowl. Coat the wings in the flour mixture lightly. Load the chicken into the air fryer and cook the chicken at 380F for 25 minutes.

Next, once the chicken is finished, toss it in the lemon pepper seasoning. Continue to watch Whip It Up With Jay tutorial on YouTube for full instructions and details.
Overall, I would love to make these lemon pepper wings in the air fryer because I hate frying them on the stove. It gets super messy with the oil flying around everywhere and the air fryer does a great job cooking everything evenly. This has motivated me to make my own wings at home, and try other seasonings as well. I’m impressed with this recipe because it has a nice golden color and crispy outer skin.
