Paula Deen’s air fryer fried apple pies are so simple and require only 5 ingredients to make. I love baking from scratch, but I do love when recipes are using premade items to save extra time in the kitchen. There are always shortcuts to recipes, and this is an inexpensive dessert to make. I love using air fryers because they heat up and cook really fast. The crisp that the air fryer gives is something that the oven cannot. This recipe reminds me of toaster strudels in a way because of the vanilla icing that is drizzled on top. These air fryer fried apple pies are bite-sized so they are perfect portion size to give your kids. On another note, that can be dangerous because I could see myself eating about 3-4 of them since they are small.

First, on a lightly floured surface, layout 4 crescent roll triangles and place 1 tablespoon of the peach pie filling in each center of the triangle. Roll and cover the filling of the pie and use a fork to crimp the edges to seal them all together.
Next, brush the egg wash on top of the apple pies so they can turn out a nice golden brown color. Spray both sides of pies with oil and air fry for about 5 minutes. Turn the pies and add 5 more minutes.
Don’t forget to melt the vanilla frosting and drizzle over the pies while it’s hot. You can use any pie filling that you prefer whether it’s peach or blueberry filling. This is a must-try dessert that I need to make and I would serve this with vanilla ice cream on the side while the pies are hot.
