This air fryer chicken tenders and copycat chick-fil-a sauce recipe by Simply Home Cooked on Youtube is one of the best snacks I have made this week. They turned out so juicy and tender just how I like them and the homemade sauce is amazing. I shared these with my whole family last night and they finished them quickly. So make sure to cook a lot of batches when you try this at home. Watch the video below for full instructions.

Make the chicken marinade. In a large bowl, combine 1/4 cup of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, and 1 pressed garlic clove.
Add the chicken to the marinade and toss until all sides are coated. Set it aside for a few minutes or you can let it marinate in the fridge overnight to absorb more flavor.
Make the breading. Combine 1/2 cup of plain breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup of panko-style breadcrumbs, and 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese in a medium-sized bowl. Next, add 3/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix everything with a whisk.
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Coat the chicken tenders with the breading mixture one at a time. Press the crumbs into the chicken to make them more crispy.
Grease the bottom of your air fryer basket with avocado oil. Place 4 chicken tenders onto the basket and spray another light coat of avocado oil.
Cook them in the air fryer at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side. To check if the chicken is done, insert a meat thermometer into the center of the chicken. It should read at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Make the barbecue sauce. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 tablespoon of boiling water with 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is melted. In a different bowl, combine mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, yellow mustard, and 1/4 teaspoon of liquid smoke. Add it to the sugar mixture and stir until well combined.
