This recipe by SAM THE COOKING GUY is absolutely delicious and will be the perfect appetizer for any summer gathering. It only takes 20 minutes to cook in the air fryer, and even less time to assemble the meal.
Ingredients Needed For This Recipe
- Chicken Breast
- Shredded Cheese
- Cream Cheese
- Minced Chipotle Pepper
- Kosher Salt
- Salsa Verde
Directions:
Step One
Start by shredding up your chicken breast into small pieces. Just use your hands to do this.
Step Two
Add your shredded cheese and cream cheese to the bowl with your chicken. Soften the cream cheese before adding it in. Then add minced chipotle pepper, diced jalapeños and salt. Mix this together well then add salsa verde to the mixture and continue stirring.

Step Three
Place a flour tortilla onto a pan with heat and allow it to get a bit toasty. Then place the meat mixture into a tortilla and spread it across the center of the tortilla and then roll the tortilla up. You can use some oil to get the tortilla to hold together.
Step Four
Place the taquitos into the air fryer and brush them with some oil. Set the air fryer timer to 20-minutes.

Step Five
Remove an avocado from its casing and place it into a bowl and mash it up. Add some diced tomatoes, cilantro, minced chipotle, onion and fresh-squeezed lime into the mashed avocado. Top the mixture up with salt.
Step Six
Make a bed of lettuce on a platter and take your taquitos out of the air fryer. Top the taquitos with the guacamole you made in step five, then serve the meal.
