Sweet potatoes have become a staple in some diets or eaten as snacks in recent years. Sweet potatoes are a good source of fiber, vitamin A, vitamin B5, and vitamin B6 since they are nutrient-dense root vegetables. There are several different varieties of sweet potatoes that can be made into various dishes or steamed and eaten alone. Also, they are very budget-friendly! ummu mustapha Amrani on YouTube shares with us this simple and straightforward baked sweet potato recipe that is cooked in an air fryer. Clean and cut the top and bottom sides of the sweet potatoes. Using a fork, poke holes all around the sweet potatoes. This method will cook the potatoes through and evenly.

Place the potatoes in a bowl and drizzle with some olive oil.

For the spices, sprinkle in some salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. The garlic powder is optional. You can also add the spices of your choice. Use your hands to mix the potatoes with olive oil and spices. Make sure to coat every side.

Transfer the seasoned sweet potatoes to the air fryer basket.

Cook the potatoes for 30 minutes at 400F. After 30 minutes, take a knife and poke through the potatoes to test how soft they are. Place them on a plate and cut across the middle using a knife to serve.  Squeeze the sides of each potato to let it cool more, and spread out some butter if you like.

Lastly, garnish with some cinnamon powder.

Food for me is an art form, so I get my kicks from playing around with flavors and ingredients.
