I never in my entire life thought I could make a cake in an air fryer, but when I saw this delicious looking  7Up creme cheese pound cake video recipe tutorial by Cooking With Carolyn on YouTube, I was in awe because Carolyn made this cake in an air fryer! This pound cake has the look and taste of any pound cake made in a traditional oven, in fact you can make this in a traditional oven if you want to. The greatest thing about making this cake in the air fryer is that you can bake on a hot summer day and never heat up your kitchen. The air fryer is such a great option for so many recipes, they are well worth the small investment.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of cake flour (Swans Down is good)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 8 ounces of butter (unsalted, 1 1/2 cups at room temperature)
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 5 whole eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces 7Up or lemon-lime soda (room temperature)
  • Additional butter and flour to tease and flour your Bundt pan

Icing For The Pound Cake:

  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of 7Up or Sprite
