Moreover, this hack from Trefa Craft on YouTube is incredibly simple to implement. Instead of reaching for a pair of scissors every time you need to cut your thread, you can use the dental floss cutter that you’ll have to attach to your presser foot. This not only saves time but also reduces the risk of accidentally snipping your fabric or other threads in your project. Incorporating a dental floss cutter into your sewing routine is a game-changing hack that offers numerous benefits. It provides a clean, precise cut for your thread, enhances portability and convenience, and promotes sustainability. So next time you sit down at your sewing machine or pick up a needle and thread, don’t forget this hack – you’ll be amazed at the difference it can make!

You’ll Need:

  • an empty box of dental floss

Directions:

Step 1

Open an empty box of dental floss. Once opened, cut the top part where the built-in cutter is located (you’ll need to cut the entire area), then clean the edges using a scissor.
