This DIY Fall mason jar candle holders are so adorable, and one of the easiest things to make. It requires only 4-5 simple materials, and most of them are inexpensive. I love mason jar crafts, and I have so many at home. Also, to save even more money, you can recreate this DIY using old jars from pasta sauces and etc. Crystal Lina tutorial on YouTube shows how quick and easy it is to make these under 5 minutes. I would’ve never thought using a napkin would work, but it shows how creative this project is. It’s a cool trick and could be a fun activity to try out with the kids. Another cool thought, I would fill up this mason jar with water and have a tealight candle float on top of the water for a cool effect.
First, open up your Fall napkins into its entirety and cut out the square blocks with the design. Then, try to take to get the napkin into one piece of the layer so it’s thin and easy to paint on for later. Continue to watch Crystal Lina tutorial on YouTube for full instructions and details.
Next, paint the mason jar with Mod Podge for half of the side first, and place one of the layers of napkin onto the wet Mod Podge. Then, paint over the napkin again and repeat on the backside.
Overall, this is an inexpensive project to make for Fall decor, and most of these items can be purchased at Dollar Tree. There is no need to spend extra money on things when you can make your own decor for half the price. Plus, it’s a great way to spend some time with your friends if you do this project with a group.
