For the meatballs:
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- ½ cup long-grain rice
- 3 cloves of garlic
- ½ small chopped onion
- ½ cup of water
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
For the sauce:
- 15 ounces of tomato sauce
- 1 cup of water
- 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley for garnish
How to Make Porcupine Meatballs
Step 1:
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Step 2:
Make the meatballs. Add the lean beef in a bowl, followed by the long grain rice, garlic cloves, chopped onion, water, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and ground black pepper. Mix with your hands until well combined.
Step 3:
