The last few days before Christmas are one of the busiest days of the week and can be pretty stressful because this is where all of your plans will start to fall in place or encounter mishaps. So it’s best to keep a few emergency options in hand that you can consider in case what you originally planned doesn’t go the way you want it to.

What I love to do is to search for a few recipes that I can do at the last minute, on the day of the party, or even ahead of time. One of my favorites is this one by Everyday Shortcuts on YouTube because it doesn’t take that much effort and you can just leave it to cook while you’re preparing other dishes, plus, it only requires a few simple ingredients.
Step 1
In the crockpot, add the salted and unsalted peanuts, white and semi-sweet chocolate chips, and German chocolate pieces, then cover the crockpot with the lid, and allow the mixture to cook on a low setting for about 2 hours making sure to leave the lid on the entire time.
Step 2
After 2 hours, remove the lid and stir the chocolate and peanuts together until fully combined and well coated. Line a baking sheet with wax paper, then drop spoonfuls of the chocolate mixture onto the wax paper, and sprinkle the holiday sprinkles. Allow it to harden, then serve, and enjoy!
