One of the best Holiday recipes is deviled eggs. They are festive, versatile, and easy to make. You can customize them however you like and even decorate them according to the occasion. Consider adding ingredients such as honey, crispy bacon, chocolate, prosciutto, or smoked salmon for extra flavor.
With Thanksgiving just a few days away, I’d like to share this Thanksgiving deviled eggs recipe I discovered on Country Cooking with Nan Disney’s YouTube channel.

Orange food coloring is added to the egg yolk mixture, and a small chopped green onion serves as the stem to make it look like a pumpkin. If you prefer, you can smooth the mixture once added to the egg halves and use a toothpick to create vertical lines for added detail. This recipe is very easy to follow and tastes delicious. Give these festive treats a try.

Place the eggs into a pot and fill with water until they are submerged. Let it come to a rolling boil, then boil for 10 minutes. Drain then immediately put cold water. Let the eggs sit in cold water for 5 minutes.
Peel the eggs and slice them in half. Remove the yolks and add them to a bowl. Place egg whites on your egg platter.
Add sweet relish, yellow mustard, mayo, dill, salt, and pepper to the egg yolks. Mix until creamy and smooth. Make a taste test and adjust seasonings if needed. Add one to two drops of orange food coloring and mix well until the mixture turns orange. Transfer into a star-tipped piping bag.
Start filling the egg whites by piping the mixture, starting from the middle, then swirling it around.
Snip the ends off green onions, then place one on each deviled egg to make them look like pumpkins. Sprinkle paprika on top and serve. Enjoy!
