Grease a pan with cooking oil or butter, then sprinkle it with flour.
In a large bowl, add 2 cups of flour, 2/3 cups of cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of table salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder. Whisk to combine.
In a different bowl, add eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk on medium-high speed using a handheld mixer. Alternatively, you can use a stand mixer. Once mixed, add the mayonnaise and mix until well combined.
While continuously mixing, add the dry mixture in batches, alternating it with 1 1/3 cups of warm water.
Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan. Bake at 350F for about 30 to 35 minutes. To check if it’s done, insert a toothpick in the center. If it comes out clean, your cake is done baking.
Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan on a wire rack. Spread chocolate cream frosting on top. Slice, serve, and enjoy!
