Lasagna is one of my all-time favorite dishes. When I’m too lazy for a traditional lasagna, I opt for this quick and easy stovetop lasagna recipe by ThatGirlCanCook. This version will save you a lot of time and energy since you don’t have to assemble the layers one by one. You can simply drop them all in the skillet. It’s delicious, simple to make, and perfect for sharing.

This lasagna is great for busy days, as it comes together in less than 30 minutes! If you don’t like spending a lot of time in the kitchen preparing a meal, this recipe is for you. It’s packed with ground beef, cheese, and tomatoes. If you are not a big fan of ricotta, you can use sour cream or cream cheese. This will surely be on your weekly meal rotation once you try this skillet lasagna.

For the beef:
For the sauce:
Crush the sheets into smaller pieces. Boil in salted water until al dente.
Add olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the diced shallot and cook until soft.
Add the ground beef and break it into pieces. Season with seasoned salt and black pepper. Cook until browned. Remove, strain, then set aside.
Remove excess grease from the skillet. Make the sauce. Add diced shallot and minced garlic. Cook until softened. Add crushed tomato and reduce the heat to low. Pour the water into the beef broth. Season with seasoned salt, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, sugar, fresh oregano, and crushed red pepper. Mix well.
Bring back the cooked ground meat and mix until well incorporated.
Mix in the cooked lasagna noodles.
Top it with cream cheese or ricotta, mozzarella, and provolone. Make sure it covers the entire top. Sprinkle Italian seasoning. Cover on the stovetop and let it simmer or broil on low until the cheese is melted. You can also use a culinary torch to melt the cheese.
