Step 1

Prepare the manicotti shells according to the package instructions, then rinse them under cold water, drain, and set aside. Preheat your oven to 350°F, then in a large mixing bowl, add the ricotta cheese, shredded parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, eggs, minced garlic, dried parsley, dried basil, salt, and pepper, and mix everything until combined.

Step 2

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish, then fill the manicotti shells with the cheese mixture evenly, and place the filled shells in the prepared baking dish. Pour the remaining marinara juice on top until the shells are well coated, then cover the dish with aluminum foil, and place it in the preheated oven to bake for about 40 to 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Step 3

Uncover the baking dish, then sprinkle the remaining cheeses on top, and put it back in the oven to bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes or until melted and lightly golden. Once done baking, remove it from the oven, then let it rest for a few minutes, and garnish it with freshly sliced basil. Serve and enjoy!
