Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F, then in a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the butter, sugar, and crushed pretzels, and give them a good mix to combine. Pour the mixture into a 9×13-inch deep baking dish, then spread it evenly, and place it in the oven to bake for about 10 minutes.

Step 2

Once done baking, let it cool completely, then combine the lime gelatin with boiling water, and stir them for about 2 minutes or until completely dissolved. Place it in the refrigerator and let it chill for about 1 hour or until partially set, then beat the cream cheese in a medium-sized bowl until fluffy, and mix in the lime gelatin until incorporated.

Step 3

Fold in half the whipped topping, then spread it over the cooled pretzel crust, and place it in the refrigerator for about 20 to 30 minutes or until almost set. Beat together the cream cheese and sugar, then fold in the remaining whipped topping, and spread it over the lime layer. Put it back in the refrigerator, then let it chill for about 1 hour or until set, and then dissolve the watermelon gelatin in boiling water.

Step 4

Place the watermelon gelatin in the fridge to chill for about 1 hour or until partially set, then while waiting, cut the watermelon into small cubes or use 1″ melon baller. Add the watermelon pieces into the gelatin, then gently stir them, and pour them over the cream cheese layer. Put it back in the refrigerator to chill for about 2 to 4 hours or until firm, then cut it into squares, and enjoy!
