This recipe by Chef Savvy on YouTube is incredibly easy to follow and you can cook this dish either on your oven or stovetop, but both methods are so simple and quick. This is also a dish that you can serve on special occasions or a romantic dinner.
Step 1
Put the salmon in a large Ziploc bag, then add the garlic, soy sauce, honey, sriracha, and water, then seal the bag, and give it a good shake to combine. Leave it to sit for about 1 hour, then take the salmon out, and discard the marinade.
Step 2: Oven Method
Preheat your oven to 425°F, then grease a baking pan with nonstick cooking spray, and line it with parchment paper. Place the salmon in the prepared pan, then put it in the oven, and let it bake for about 15 minutes or until cooked through making sure not to overcook.
Step 2: Pan-Fry Method
Place a large skillet on a stove over medium-high heat, then heat the olive oil, and add the salmon with its skin side down. Cook it for about 4 to 5 minutes per side or until it starts to turn opaque, then turn off the heat, and remove the salmon to a plate.
Step 3
Let the salmon cool enough for you to handle, then peel off the skin, and place it in a serving plate. Sprinkle some freshly chopped green onions and sesame seeds, then you can cook the marinade you use, and drizzle it over the salmon. Serve immediately and enjoy!
