This sausage and egg pie is a very simple dish that you can eat for breakfast or dinner, and it’s so hearty and delicious that you can finish a whole serving in just one sitting. It’s filled with all of your favorite ingredients such as sausage, cheese, and eggs which taste so good together.

Step 1
Prepare the pie crust, then place it in an oven preheated at 400°F, and let it bake for about 12 minutes. Once done baking, remove the pie crust from the oven, then set it aside to cool down, and turn the heat of the oven down to 350°F.
Step 2
Place an oven-safe skillet on a stove over medium-high heat, then add in the breakfast sausage, and break it apart. Add the onion, then cook the beef until nice and brown, and then drain off the excess grease if needed.
Step 3
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the eggs, half and half, onion powder, butter, and pepper, then beat whisk them in between every addition until well combined, and then add in the flour. Continue to whisk until fully combined, then add in the cooked sausage and onion, and then add 1 cup of cheese.
Step 4
Give them a good mix until evenly combined, then pour the mixture into the baked crust, and then place it in the preheated oven. Allow it to bake for about 40 minutes, then add the remaining cheese on top, and put it back in the oven to bake for a final 20 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
