Do you love eating meat and cajun? If you do, this dish is for you! It has a tomato-based sauce that is bursting with flavors. I am sure you’ll agree that this homemade version is better than the ones you order from restaurants. You should definitely give this a try. It will only take a couple of minutes to prepare, and it’s ready to be served.
Cook the pasta for about 10 minutes or until al dente. Strain, then set aside.
Place a pan over heat, then add 3 to 4 tablespoons of oil. Add the shrimp into a bowl and season with cajun spice. Mix well. Do the same for the chicken.
Once the oil is hot, add the seasoned shrimps. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, then set aside. Next, add the seasoned chicken and cook until browned. After that, cook the sausage until nicely browned. Add the onion, garlic, and bay leaf. Cook until the onions are soft.
Add the bell pepper and tomatoes to the sausage. Season with red chili flakes, oregano, black pepper, thyme, and cajun seasoning. Mix until well incorporated. Cook for about 2 minutes.
Add the tomato sauce and chicken stock. Bring back the chicken and cover with the lid. Allow it to come to a boil.
Add the pasta and mix well. Once mixed, bring back the shrimp and mix again. Cover and let it simmer for a few minutes.
Serve and enjoy!
