A few days ago, my little cousins kept asking me to make them some fresh donuts, but I don’t have enough ingredients to make them from scratch, and I don’t feel like braving the cold weather to buy some. So, I raided the kitchen to look for an alternative that I could find, and that’s when I saw a couple of canned biscuits that I bought a week prior. I wondered if it’s possible to use them to make the donuts instead, and I was so happy when I found a similar video on YouTube, it comes with a bonus glaze recipe, too!

I went ahead and gave it a try, and the verdict was, it was all gone in just a few minutes because they loved it so much. It’s the perfect hot snack to enjoy during the cold weather and it’s so yummy that you would be addicted. Cinnamon & Sugar Coating (Optional)
Glaze (Optional)
Chocolate Glaze (Optional)
Step 1
Place a skillet on a stove over medium heat, add the oil, and let it heat while preparing the donuts. Remove the biscuits from the can, separate them into individual pieces, and cut a hole at each center. Once the oil is hot and bubbling, add the donuts in batches, and cook them until nice and brown.

Step 2
Flip it over, then brown the other side, and transfer them to a wire rack or plate lined with a paper towel to drain off the excess oil. Cook the remaining donuts and fry the donut balls as well.
Step 3
You can serve them immediately, coat them in a sugar and cinnamon mixture, or dip them in a glaze, and serve. To make the glaze, simply add the ingredients to a bowl, then give them a good stir, and adjust the consistency to preference by thinning it with milk.
