1 – Removing moisture

Pat any ingredients dry using a paper towel before you put them in the pan. Never put dripping wet vegetables that you just rinsed into a hot pan with oil.

2 – Lowering heat and using a splatter screen

The first method will not work with burgers, meatballs, and tomato sauce. What you can do is turn down the heat. Lowering the temperature will limit the splatter.
