It’s surprising that I only heard of this recently. You won’t find a better dessert recipe than this 3-ingredient lemon posset by Cafe Couffee, as it’s seriously good and super easy to make.

To make this yummy treat, all you need is three simple ingredients – whipping cream, white sugar, and lemon. It does not contain eggs, starch, or gelatin! With just 15 minutes, it’s already done and ready to go in the fridge. The only hard part is waiting for 3 hours until it’s chilled. I’m sure you’ll be surprised how good this actually tastes. It has the perfect balance of sweet and citrusy flavors!

Start by zesting 2 lemons and set them aside.
Cut the lemons in half and scoop out the flesh. You can use either the lemon skin or ramekins for the bowl.
Cut the lemon flesh and juice it through a strainer.
Add the double cream/heavy whipping cream, sugar, and lemon zest in a small pot over low heat. Whisk and let it cook for roughly 10 minutes or until it starts bubbling.
Remove it from heat and pour the lemon juice. Stir everything together. Pour the mixture through a strainer to remove the lemon zest.
Pour them into the lemon bowls or in ramekins. Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.
