There are a lot of ways and techniques to make a chocolate chip cookie, but this recipe by Food Wishes on YouTube is probably one of my favorites. These chocolate chip cookies are thinner and crispier than usual which makes them more exciting and fun to eat!

Even newbie bakers can give this wonderful recipe a try and they won’t even have to worry if they don’t have a mixer because this particular recipe won’t need one. You can prepare this all in one bowl and is ready in just a few easy steps. Learn how to make this now.
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, add the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt, then whisk them until uniform, and set them aside. In a separate bowl, add the butter making sure it’s very very soft (use high-quality butter as cheaper ones will have more water content and affect the thickness of the cookie), then add in the white and light brown sugar as well, and smash them together with a spatula.

Step 2
Give them a good mix and keep doing so for a couple of minutes until light and fluffy, then add the vanilla, milk, and egg, and whisk them together until well combined. Scrape the sides, then add the flour mixture, and continue to whisk until incorporated. Add the chocolate chips, then fold them in until evenly distributed, and transfer the dough to a Ziploc bag.
Step 3
Press the air out of the bag and seal it, then place the dough in the refrigerator, and let it chill for a couple of hours. Once ready, grab a small ice cream scoop, then scoop out the dough into a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and make sure to space them apart evenly at least 2 inches. Place them in a preheated oven at 375°F, then bake them for about 12 minutes, and serve. Enjoy!
