Ingredients for Baked Sweet Potatoes:

  • 4 large sweet potatoes
  • 4 tbsp of unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp of coarse salt
  • ¼ tsp of ground black pepper

How to Make Baked Sweet Potatoes:

Step 1

Scrub the sweet potatoes clean until all dirt is gone, then give them a good rinse, and pat them dry with a paper towel. Preheat your oven to 375°F, then place the rack in the center, and place the sweet potatoes over the rack.

Step 2

Let the sweet potatoes bake for about 1½ hours or until soft and caramelizing, then remove them from the oven, and let them cool down enough to hold them.
