This pretty table topper quilt by kylly6620 on YouTube is the perfect finishing touch to your table set up for the holidays. It’s very simple to piece together and only requires 4 different fabrics. This project doesn’t require complicated steps or fabric cuts because all you need to do is cut them into strips. Proceed to read the written instructions below and while you’re at it watch the video tutorial as well.
Step 1
Cut each of the fabrics into 2-inch strips, then take one from each of the fabrics, and lay them beside each other in whatever order you want. Stitch them together one at a time, then press the seams toward the same direction, and lay the pieced strips on your cutting board. Lay the triangle ruler on top, then position the point of the ruler at the top edge of the fabric, and align the bottom with the markings on your ruler.

Step 2
Cut the piece out, then turn the ruler, and cut a reverse triangle. Continue to cut more triangles with each one smaller than the other as demonstrated in the video tutorial, then lay and assemble them to form a star as shown in the video. Start stitching them by pair, then stitch the pairs to each other, and press the seams as you go. Trim off the excess fabric at the edges, then add the batting and backing fabric, and quilt however you want.
