Line a 7″ microwavable-safe mold or dish with baking paper.
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder in a bowl and whisk them together.
Add the melted butter and warm water to the dry mixture and whisk until smooth.
Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking dish and give it a few thumps to remove air.
Microwave on medium (400W) for about 4 to 5 minutes. To check if it’s done, insert a toothpick in the middle. If it comes out with a little bit of moisture, take it out. If not, microwave for another minute.
In a microwave-safe bowl, add the dark chocolate and double cream. Place inside the oven for about 1 minute. Take it out and gently stir until well combined.
Flip the cake upside down onto a plate and remove the mold then take off the baking paper. Let it cool for a few minutes.
Pour the chocolate mixture over the cake and smoothen it out.
Slice the cake, serve, and enjoy!
