Instead of serving plain cookies, make them more fun and exciting by turning them into spider cookies just like this one by thesqueakymixer on TikTok. They look so adorable and they taste so good, surely both kids and adults alike won’t be able to resist these yummy treats. Expect clean plates after your party because this dessert idea is so yummy it will be gone in just a few minutes.
Step 1
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the flour, baking soda, and salt, then whisk them together until combined, and set it aside. In a large bowl, add the butter and sugars, then beat them together until creamy, and scrape the sides as you mix. Add the peanut butter, then continue to mix until light, creamy, and fluffy, add the egg and vanilla, and continue to mix until incorporated. Pour in the milk, then keep mixing until there are no more lumps, and gradually add the flour mixture while mixing continuously until fully combined.

Step 2
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, then place it in the refrigerator, and let it chill for at least 2 hours or up to overnight. At this point preheat your oven to 375°F, then line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper, and set them aside. Scoop about 2 tablespoons-sized balls, then place them in the prepared baking sheet making sure to space them about 2 inches apart evenly, and then place them in the preheated oven.
Step 3
Let them bake for about 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown, then allow them to sit for about 3 to 5 minutes before placing a peanut butter cup on the center of each cookie and pressing them down gently. Let the cookie cool completely on the wire rack, then melt the chocolate in the microwave at 30-second intervals, and transfer it to a piping bag. Pipe the chocolate to the cookies to create the spider legs as shown in the video, then let it set, and serve. Enjoy!
