As someone who wears eyeglasses when reading or watching, it’s very easy to break them when lying down or when their screws become too loose, and since those screws are small, they can get lost rather easily. If you are also experiencing the same thing but you can’t get it fixed by a professional right away, then you must watch this video tutorial by Md. Mridul Kabiraz on YouTube to learn how to temporarily fix your eyeglasses without spending a lot of money and using only random stuff that you can easily find around your house. I hope you find these tricks and hacks as useful as I did!
#1: Toothpick
Align the end piece and hinge together making sure the holes are properly matched, then insert a toothpick on it, and push it down as further as you can tightly. Snap the excess toothpick off and then use your eyeglasses as you usually would.
#2: Metal staple
Take a piece or two staples, cut it in half, then align the end piece and hinge of the eyeglasses, and insert it down the hole. Fold in each end of the staple to secure it in place and you’re done.

#3: Electric Wire
Find an old cable and cut a piece of wire inside, then use the same technique as the staple, and use it to hold together the end piece and hinge of the eyeglasses. Twist is securely in place and use your eyeglasses as you usually would.
