Start by drilling five holes in the driftwood using your driller. You can also just tie the twine around if you prefer not to do the drilling.
Cut five strands of twine. Each strand should measure 60 inches long.
Halfway along each strand of twine, create a double knot. Once knotted, thread the twine through the driftwood. Make sure that the knot is going to be on the bottom side of the piece of driftwood when it’s hanging.
Create a single knot along the twine where the seashells are going to be, about one and a half to two inches apart. You can arrange the shells randomly, but you can also arrange the shells in an ombre effect, from dark to light. Add a little dab of hot glue on the single knots that you made, then attach it to the back of the shells. Be careful not to burn yourself. Hold it in place for a few seconds until the glue sets. Do it to all of the shells. You need seven seashells in the middle strand, six on the strands beside the middle, and five seashells on the outermost strand.
Knot the five strands together n the other end and hang it on your wall or ceiling for decoration.
